Corvette Original Lap Seat Belt with Shoulder Harness Black LH & RH Car Set E1969

Correct for Corvette Early 1969. These lap belts feature a receiver specific for only early 1969 Corvettes that include the spine through the center of the GM logo.

This is not a date matched set of seat belts. The lap belts are dated 52 F 68 (52nd week of 1968). The shoulder belts are dated 37 B 69 (37th week of 1969). The retractors for the shoulder harnesses are in great working condition. There is some wear to the lap belt receivers and both of the covers show a tear (see pics).

The left hand side buckle also shows a divet/gouge removed from the circular lip around the GM logo, but the buttons are in terrific condition. The metal for one retractor shows surface rust from mounting as well as one crack in the plastic, but is still firmly attached.

The rubber covers for the shoulder harness retractors are in very good condition. There are a few snags here and there in the lap belt material, and the shoulder harness belts are in great shape. We cannot guarantee the integrity of the webbing or recommend the use of this seat belt set as a safety harness in your vehicle. Again, this set is good to be used for judging/show purposes or to be restored, and the purchaser assumes responsibility if used for any other reason.
