Industry research has supported and some racers are now preferring the complete 2 inch harness system. The 2 inch lap belts optimally locate under the hip bone crest.

The 2 inch shoulder harness belts optimally locate onto head and neck restraints. The 2 inch crotch strap maintains position of the lap belts.
