1970's GM Cadillac Eldorado Convertible FRONT Seat Belt SET 6 Pieces RED EC

FRONT SEAT - FULL (6 PIECES) Seat Belt Set. PRODUCTION DATE: AUGUST 1975 (Used in 1976 Model year).

CONDITION: This is a fully functional replacement strap set, 6 pieces, in overall EXCELLENT used condition. There really isn't much of anything to critique here, this set is amazing for being 48 years old. This set was removed from a car that had an immaculate interior, well taken care of. The buckles are in great shape -- shiny chrome and fully operational. Adjuster mechanism (Center belt) works fine.

The retractors (outer Driver and Passenger Side) have great pull and lock properly when in use. The housing covers, usually scuffed and abuse, are really clean and show minimal wear & tear for being plastic parts. No major gouges or cracks.

The RED strapping is beautiful. Such great colors back in the day! Clean, flexible, great stitching, etc.

Excellent original strap coloring, no fraying at the edges. They even retain that shininess per original. Sets like this rarely come along -- this set would fit nicely into a premium Survivor Car or Top end restoration vehicle, if desired. Likely impossible to find a nicer used set than this one, and that is high praise.

Overall I rate the set at EXCELLENT. NOTE: This is the "small / standard" sized male/female buckle (1960's-1971 mainly had the "large" male buckle). NOTE: The wiring from the belts is for the dash buzzer system (brainbox is located under the front seat) that alerts you when somebody is sitting in a seat but does not have their belt on. Many people deactivated that annoying buzzer system.

It's not required that you hook up the wires. You can cut them off below the stitch if desired. GRADING: 9.00-9.50 on a 10 scale. Light and minimal wear and tear, you will love these belts! It's up to YOU to verify the usability in your car PRIOR to purchasing.
