1970's GM Cadillac Eldorado FRONT PASSENGER Seat Belt Retractor GREEN VGC

FRONT SEAT - PASSENGER SIDE Seat Belt Retractor. This is a Post-1971 style floor mounted retractor Works great! See NOTE1 at the end of this listing.

CONDITION: Very Good condition used item. Retractor works great, strong pull. The belt on the retractor is in very good shape -- Excellent coloring. No frays or stains of consequence.

Coloring is nice and even, with maybe a touch of wear fade at the male buckle. The Chrome buckle itself has no rust and is nice and shiny.

Has normal wear/tear light scratches. Cover for the housing is usable and pretty good. The rear door is there (often break off), and overall the housing isn't all scuffed up like most -- just a few light marks. It has a slight crack at the belt exit on the side that faces the seat, so it's won't be too obvious. This retractor is a solid replacement and should provide many more years of use. NOTE: This is the "small / standard" sized male buckle (1960's-1971 mainly had the "large" male buckle). It's up to YOU to verify the usability in your car PRIOR to purchasing. This set is ideal for 1971-76 GM CONVERTIBLES! NOTE1 : The floor mount for the front retractors evolved as well. While all of them (1960's-1979) used a single bolt to hold them to the floor, the PRE-1972 ones sometimes had a small post that went into a guide hole in the floorpan, apparently to prevent the retractor housing from turning if the bolt were a bit loose. They eliminated that in 1973 in favor of two nubs / protrusions (on the retractor base) that fit the grooves of the floorpan.
